Forgiveness
Dear Family
I hope that everyone had a very good Sunday. I did and I wanted to share a thought that I had during one of the discussions in class.
While the Savior was on the cross he showed us the ultimate form of forgiveness as he spoke, referring to the solders...
Luke 23
34 ¶ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
As I was thinking of all that the Savior went through I had a different thought about his statement to forgive those that had done wrong to him. Each of us because of the fact that we are far from perfect have been the cause of some of the suffering that the Savior experienced during the atonement. Though while hanging on the cross he was referring to those that were crucifying him, the Savior could have been referring to each of us. He could have been forgiving each of us for the pain we caused him in the Garden of Gethsemane. The Savior has forgiven us and will continue to forgive us if we continue to repent and change our lives for the better. I thank God for the time he has given me to keep working on getting it right. Each time we make a step to improve and each time we overcome a weakness the power of the atonement provides us the opportunity to be healed spiritually and the Savior again forgives us.
There is not greater love than that of the Savior for each of us. I want each of my children to feel the joy of the Saviors Love. Always keep trying to do what is right and be carful to not beat yourselves up to harshly when you do make a mistake. To fully accept the forgiveness that the Savior offers we must forgive ourselves and then move on in life stronger, smarter and better than before.
The gospel is true and you are each loved. Love ya lots

The Smiths First Post.
So I really enjoyed conference, especially Sunday where Kevin and I got to go see the family in the morning then the Smith family in the evening. I love hanging out with the family. Sorry the distance and busy schedule does seem to make it hard in seeing everyone more often. I guess I'll get to see mom this week and then later Dad. Can't wait. Remember everyone is welcomed.
So I do have tests this week and Kevin has been a great help. We are also planning on exercising this week, we want to become healthier. I'm not sure what my major is going to be yet, but I'm still enjoying my classes, I have a Modern Hebrew class, Book of Mormon, and Strengthening Family and Marriage class. I also really enjoy my job as a receptionist in the Religious Education Deans office at BYU.
This weekend Kevin's Sister and Brother in-law, Nick and Christina Gentile are moving into their home in Saratoga Springs, we'll probably be helping them on Saturday unless anything else comes up.
I think that is a good update on our family. If you have any questions go ahead and post them. We'd love to answer them. We love the family so much and always pray for you.
We Love you all, Love Deborah and Kevin

Welcome
Well I remember Mom and Dad mentioning they'd like a way to know whats going on in all of our lives. So I thought a family blog might work. If it does great, but if not, that's ok too.
I've invited everyone, if I missed someone, please add their name.
Also please add pictures, stories, and up coming events, and also of course testimonies.
Love everyone heaps.
